My
update this week starts off with a Sunset from Sunday night our best display
here in mid-wales I have seen this year - and I almost missed it ! This was
a fitting end to what had been one of our best weekends of the year for sunshine.
The
foggy mornings and bright sunrises have also given some good displays this
week.This one from Thursday morning.
Frosty
mornings are not only for photography but a certain team member requires some
'play time' too !!
It
may be said that some people get tired of the same old view - well here is
one for me that is never the same. The view shows Pen-y-fan in the distance
the highest point of the Brecon Beacons. This was taken on sunday morning with
the mist in the lower regions still apparent.
Sunday
morning gave us a hard frost and some long shadows with the bright early sun.
Another
Sunrise from last week.
This
week I am testing a new webcam which is located some distance away from the
house at higher climbs so giving better views - this means that the webcam
this week is going to be a little unpredicable. This view was taken this morning
as I returned from locating the equipment at one of the remote locations -
trying to set up this kit in complete darkness and thick fog has become a
bit of a challenge!
Below some more
of the pictures from the past year.Immediately below is one I call 'RADNORSHIRE
MIST' and is currently 'photo of the week' at the website
www.weather.com. The second is 'MORNING GLORY' and finally one of my favourites
from September.
