Morning Glory
Radnorshire Mist
Pink Sunset
Radnorshire spring

Below left is the picture I took last year which I call 'Radnorshire Mist' , the photograph below right is one which I took in exactly the same place this week on my journey to work.

This time the frost has given another dimension to the picture...each picture is a thumbnail so click on them to view larger.

May is finally here , but you wouldn,t know it here in the UK as the temperatures have been very slow to climb. As we approach a Bank Holiday weekend it is showing signs of getting brighter.Meg and I have been doing very little Walking confined only to our Lane due to the current F&M outbreak which hopefully is showing signs of improvement - I know one Collie dog not to mention one owner who will be pleased !
rippled cloud cover

This weeks pics starts of with some unusual rippling effect on the cloud that was actually present for three days I have seen this a few times before but no for so many days in a row - different !!!

Talking of different......and this certainly was for me..The two photographs below

On the left an intense orange sunset with the wall to wall cloud cover produced a Bow in the South for about two minutes - ( below right ) it was the orange glow that took me out.I have never seen a Bow like this before and is noticeably thicker with the inside of the arc orange - noticeable in the picture. any explanations ?

Intense sunset
strange Bow

Ok - So call me old fashioned but I still think a nice blue sky and some fluffy white clouds looks nice in a photo.........................

Blue Sky , white clouds
Tree Outline

And as we drift into the summer months probably my last chance of a tree Silhouette

Watch out for a new look website soon !!!!!
